The following terms and conditions represent the basis upon which driving lessons and courses are offered to you by kenny learner driver ( note the contract for service is between you and the instructor and is bound by following terms and conditions and has  signed up to Driving Instructor Association (DIA) code of conduct.


1 General Conduct instructor is bound by a strict code of conduct and has been CRB checked and approved by the Driving Standards Agency (DSA).

Your instructor will be courteous,polite,tidy and punctual.Your instructor's car will be well maintained,clean and tidy.The car will be fittedwith dual controls.The car will be fully insured for driving tuition. operate a strict no smoking policy in car nor will they use your lesson time for any other form of business,personal or otherwise

2 Qualifcations

The instructor will be a fully qualified driving instructor and will be licenced by DSA to give driving tuition.


3 Course Materials where appropriate provide a free set of driving skills worksheets.In addition a progress chart will be kept and discussed as lessons will provide free access to on line study material to assist with theory test preperation where lesson / courses are can deny access in the event of lesson / course being cancelled.

4 Driving Licence and Eyesight

All tuition clients MUST hold a current valid driving licence (provisional or full),which must be produced on their first lesson.Both photo card and paper part of licence is required.

We will check eyesight meets required standard for driving.You are required to be able to read a standrd number plate from 20.5 meters.With or without glasses/contact lenses


5 Payments

Please note payment for courses must be made prior to start of course.

A £50.00 non refundable deposit is required where course is not paid in full until start of course.

At this point a binding agreement is made between yourself and instructor 

This does not in any way affect your statutory right to be provided with the services you have bought(please see term 12).

Gift Vouchers are valid for 6 months from date of purchase and can not be used in conjunction with any offers running.

Please note a full refund will be provided if  are unable to meet any special requirements on courses booked.

6 Customer Care Payment Scheme 

When you pay for course monies paid will be held on your and instructors behalf until client signs course is complete form.A signature on this form confirms client has complete course and will allow monies to be released to instructor


7 Lesson postponement reserves the right to charge lesson fee when lesson is cancelled at less than 48 hours notice.

Lesson will be paid for via bank transfer or will be sent at time of cancellation

Two short notice cancelations will result in any lesson being booked having to be paid for in advance. reserve the right to postpone lesson if adverse weather or road conditions are unsuitable or dangerous.In this case lesson would be rescheduled. cannot be held responsible for any costs incurred as a result of lesson being postponed for whatever reason.

8 The Driving Test

Driving test must be booked in conjunction with instructor to prevent clashes.

Driving tests take priority over normal lessons.Your lesson maybe moved to accomadate a test booking and vice versa.  in interests of customer and public saftey reserve the right to withhold use of vehicle for test if in instructors opinion your driving is actually or potentially dangerous.

Your driving test date can be changed without loss of fee if DSA receive correct notice.Last date to cancel is shown on confirmation page of booking.


9 Punctuality

Clients are advised to be punctual for lesson.Dates and times are recorded on appointment card provided on first will wait for 15 minutes before abandoning lesson.This will result in loss of fee.

IF instructor is delayed client will be notified as soon a possible,and lesson rearranged or proceeding from instructors arrival.This will result in lesson finishing later than planned.

10 Learner comfort and saftey

In interests of comfort and saftey learners should wear suitable footwear and clothing that does not restrict movement.

Learners must note any medication they are taking may affect their ability to drive safely

Instructor reseves right to cancel lesson if client is under influence of alcohol or drugs with client being charged lesson fee


11 Complaints

In event of complaint every effort will be made to resolve issue promptly.

Nothing in terms and conditions will reduce your statutory rights relating to faulty or misdescribed goods or services. have a statutory obligation to provided you with goods and services that are fit for purpose for which they were bought and as described.
